Error downloading config file

Having this same error pop up last night into today. Was fine the night before, now I can’t get into Factions or play the campaign while connected to the internet. Other online games work and I have never received this “error downloading config file” before. Have uninstalled and reinstalled game three, deleted saved files, cleared off space and am rebuilt database. Nothing has worked. My PS4 info is as follows:

PS4 model: PS4-576
Disk or digital: Disk
Time since install: 3.5 years
System Free Space: 200GB
Download Speed: 51.5mbps
Upload Speed: 10.2mbps
Location: Canada

This message is displayed when a user is unable to connect to the game server. Most often this is due to being behind a firewall.

You can try contacting your ISP requesting that they allow traffic to https://s3.amazonaws.com/,

    Since 3 days, impossible To connect to MP server..on PS3 . Thé progresse bar actually does not progress ! It worked 3 days ago and then nothing. Web connexion is ok, si what ?

    I contacted isp their is no restrictions on web site. Its absolutely the server. Please help.

    Hi I am a long term fan of the game I played it back on ps3 when it first came out I recently bought the game on the ps4 I was able to play it for about 2 days then I got the config error problem please help me get back into the MP as I do not enjoy many other MP games and my friends only play this game so I am now left out of the fun and hope to get back in quickly

    Hello ND team, i have the same issue as indicated by this forum.

    PS4 model = PS4-036
    Disk or digital download = DISK
    Time since install = 1.5 years
    System Free Space = 199.3GB

    Yesterday my game was fine. As i logged on today, this is the error (error downloading config file) that i encountered. This has never happened before.

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    I had same problem "error downloading config file" and I had same problem on PS3 I try contact to my isp to fix this but it not work

    The game seems to be working fine right now. i guess you did something to fix it for us, so thank you Naughty Dog :)
    I just hope it fixed forever.

    i also have this problem. the mp is not working for me. i got the game digital from the psn store, everytime i try to connect to the multiplayer, ''error downloading config file '' i talkd with sony customer service twice, and what they said to me didn't help, so what can i do ?
