We believe in maintaining a level playing field for our player community and as such, we take significant measures to monitor, investigate, and root out cheating and exploits of in-game systems. Player feedback is essential to our efforts, which is why we’ve launched a new system for players to report instances of suspected cheating, exploits, or unsporting play in Uncharted 4 Multiplayer, including but not limited to*:
If you believe you’ve encountered one of the above prohibited activities while playing Uncharted 4 Multiplayer, here’s how you can share a detailed report with our development teams:
Step 1: Capture a Video of Suspected Cheating and Note PSN IDs
In order to review, identify, and take appropriate action against suspected cheating, we require a visual record of the offense via captured video. Using the PlayStation 4’s built-in sharing functionality or your preferred third-party capture system, please record a video of any suspected cheating, upload it to a video hosting service, and create a shareable link. Screenshots are also helpful, but all submissions must include a video.
Step 2: Log In with Your PSN ID
Before filling out the form below, log in with your existing PlayStation Network ID—the same username and password used to log into your account via PlayStation.com or on your PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, or PS Vita.
Step 3: Fill Out the Suspected Cheating Form
Please complete the form at the bottom of the page and fill out each field. In order to successfully submit the form, you will need to provide the following:
Please take care to ensure the information provided is accurate and detailed.
Once your report of suspected cheating is received, no further action is required. Our teams will conduct a review and if we feel that it’s appropriate to do so, will take measures, such as issuing a warning or restricting access to Uncharted 4 Multiplayer.
*Please note that deceptive conduct, cheating, hacking, and other misuse of the PlayStation Network are already prohibited by the Code of Conduct contained in the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement. Prohibition against instances of cheating, exploits, and unsporting play noted above is in addition to, and not instead of, rules set forth in the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement.
