First, please ensure you are using an HDMI 2.1 cable; ideally the one that was supplied with the PS5. If you are unsure of the type of HDMI cable, or are certain you are using an HDMI 2.1 cable and still experiencing the problem, try swapping with another HDMI 2.1 cable.
If the problem persists, navigate through your PlayStation 5 settings to the 4K Video Transfer Rate setting.
- Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > 4K Video Transfer Rate
- Toggle this option from automatic to -1. If the problem is still occurring, change the option to -2.
If neither of these changes had an effect on the issue, check your monitor for any available firmware updates that may be available. This can usually be performed via USB.
Lastly if none of these changes have solved the problem, please disable VRR in your PlayStation 5 settings.
- Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > VRR > Off
If the issue remains unresolved, feel free to submit a help ticket and we will do our best to assist you further.
