Audio-Related FAQs
Are you missing surround configurations or only hearing stereo despite selecting a surround configuration?
Configure your speakers by going to your PC’s Sound Control Panel, selecting your Playback device and choosing Configure. Choose the output format and speaker layout matching your surround configuration and continue through to the end of the setup wizard.
Are you hearing pops, clicks, and other audio glitches?
In Options > Audio, scroll down to the Compatibility section and change Latency to Medium or High. Quit and relaunch the game.
Why are all the volume sliders stuck at 0?
Try changing your default output device by going to the Sound Control Panel, right-click another Playback device and choose Set as Default Device. If that still does not resolve the issue, please reach out to our support team.
Why don't I hear my custom equalization profile or sound processing from third-party audio software?
Windows' Spatial Sound bypasses most third-party audio processing software. If you would prefer to use your own virtualization and processing software, in Options > Audio, scroll down to the Compatibility section and change the Output Mode to Traditional.
Are music and cutscenes too loud, but gameplay is too quiet?
Go to the Sound Control Panel, select your Playback device and choose Properties. Go to the Enhancements tab if available and check "Disable all enhancements" and hit OK. If that doesn't resolve the issue, in Options > Audio, scroll down to the Compatibility section and change the Output Mode from Hybrid to either Spatial or Traditional.
Is the gameplay loud, but music and cinematics too quiet?

Is there missing dialogue or no sound whatsoever during cinematics?

Does gameplay audio become abnormally quiet when it goes behind the camera?
In Options > Audio, confirm that your Output Channel configuration matches your physical speaker configuration in Windows' Sound Control Panel. If so, scroll down to the Compatibility section and change the Output Mode to Traditional.
Performance-Related FAQs
Are there any in-game options for tuning my framerate?
Setting a Framerate Cap is one such option. This option can be found under Options > Display > Framerate Cap. To monitor your framerate while playing you can enable performance stats on the in-game HUD: Options > HUD > Performance.
