Can puzzles be skipped to further story progression?

Yes, puzzles can be skipped by enabling Skip Puzzle Option by following the below menu pathway:

Options > Accessibility > Navigation and Traversal > Skip Puzzle Option [Off/On]

When enabled, you are able to select SKIP PUZZLE from the pause menu to advance to the puzzle’s completion.
